Elise Madere Lee earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Mass Communication from Loyola University in New Orleans in 2008.  She earned her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University in 2014. 

During her law school career, she was a Moot Court Board Member, a Wex Malone Inn of Court Member based on outstanding advocacy skills in the Vinson & Elkins NITA Trial Advocacy Program, and she earned awards for the highest grade for Legal Research and Writing I and II. She was also a Certified Student Attorney in the LSU Law Juvenile Defense Clinic. 

Ms. Madere Lee worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office in New Orleans, Louisiana for three years following her admission to the bar. 

She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the 22nd Judicial District Court Bar Association.
